New Project win at University of Sydney
      August 2014
Waterman has been appointed by the University of Sydney for the $290 Million redevelopment of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies (FEIT).

Over the next seven years the campus will be transformed to create innovative workspaces, better facilities for students and researchers, and improved facilities to support a student community living on and around the campus. The FEIT site currently comprises an area of 69,000m2

Waterman has been commissioned for the initial two stages of the project to deliver Electrical, Security, Dry Fire and Communications engineering services which involves developing baseline data related to the existing conditions both at a site wide level and building by building (a total of approximately 10 buildings). This is then followed by a Transformation Plan which will include:

  • A Master Plan
  • A staging and decanting plan
  • Early enabling works.
Richard Nicoliello (Waterman Sydney Director) commented “This is a great win for Waterman that fits perfectly with our strategic goals at the University of Sydney. This will be a great challenge for our team and hopefully one that we can continue with on further stages of this exciting project.”
